Annoyed at thread drift

And I end my evening with a sober thought as I ever remain thankful to still have my wife with me after all she has endured. Her beauty is certainly more than skin deep, and her heart continues to find that for which she can be truly thankful. Complaint can only diminish. Gracious thankfulness multiplies. Blessings and peace to you all.

I hope everyone had a GREAT Day! I'm wrapping up my day. I'm tired. I missed my nap today. Oh well, I can always take two naps tomorrow?

So get some rest. Be sure and stock up on Doughnuts later today! It's national doughnut day.

I hope y'all have sweet dreams about Big Chocolate Frosted Doughnuts the size of a semi truck tire and and a BIG Glass of Ice Cold Milk, the size of a 5 gallon bucket!:)
 
Good morning drift! Hope everyone had a good night! Have my coffee and am up and going but just can't get any enthusiasm going this morning. Been stuck here waiting for something worth typing to come into my head but nothing,I am stuck in the doldrums and can't seem to get myself out of them. Need to come up with something to snap myself out of this.
 
Good morning drifters. It's 78 in the desert this morning heading to the 100's once again. An extreme heat advisory has been issued for the next three days cause it's gonna be warm. Someone mentioned humidity and we have humidity here, just yesterday it was 8%. Now I know that sounds funny to most but when you are outside and there is no humidity the sun will burn you very quickly.

Today is grocery day so I have to go to town and buy food and stuff. Hopefully I won't meet up with any of the crazies that make up a large portion of the population in Phoenix.

I didn't sleep worth a flip. And I didn't dream about any doughnuts. But that's OK. It's a Cloudy Day, supposed to have rain this evening and all weekend? We could use it. Lakes are at a End Of Summer level already? Way to early for that.

We had planned on going to the Drag Races tomorrow night? Looks like it's going to be a total wash out?

So I hope everyone has a GREAT Day! Be Safe and try to stay dry!

Good morning everyone,,,,,Happy Friday! ;)
Slept well last night but I didn't dream about donuts! The wife went to Dunkin Donuts this morning for some of their bagel sandwiches, bought back some donuts,,,, I haven't stepped foot in one of those places in a lot of years,,,, and now I remember why! They stink and so do their donuts! ;)
Soon we'll be heading out for the granddaughters school show,,,as Ed Sullivan would say,,,It's going to be a really big shoe! :cool:
Going to stop at Best Buy to pick up the Monkees new album, after 50 year the three surviving members put out an album with the songs they didn't record 50 years ago! :cool: Never a big fan but I figured I'd pick it up for nostalgic purposes!
