It's 76 degrees and overcast here in Houston. I'm heading out for my morning walk. I could take the day off, but the weather is supposed to get nasty this weekend, so I'll save my rest day for that.

I hope Santa was good to you. I'm heading out to the streets to see if anything fell off his sleigh for me.

Whew! Yippee! I am still alive for another day! At my age you just never know when you nod off if you will wake up one more time. I like to have a little celebration every morning I cheat old death out of another day.

Our Christmas plans have been postponed as my mom has pneumonia and is struggling. It came on suddenly and having COPD doesn't help.

I'm trying to keep a glad heart but I am faltering.

Getting ready to go to my late wife's kids' Christmas dinner. I can't drive after dark at all, so one of the boys (he's fifty-seven ) will pick me up and bring me home.

What's For Christmas Lunch?

We've been running since 7:30 this morning. I'm not a big fan about eating at other peoples houses. And I was starving! So I see of all things a WAFFLE HOUSE! I haven't eaten at a Waffle House in years! So we stopped and had the best Breakfast/Lunch! EVER!!

I got Pecan Waffle with Sausage and Bacon, Large Orange Juice and a glass of water. My wife got a burger and hash browns.

It was GREAT!

The older lady that waited on us was Super Super Nice and got a big ole fat tip!

A Great Christmas Brunch!!!
