We had our dog for over two years before we ever heard him bark. He wasn't much of a watch dog, but I miss the little feller. And he loved White Castles. He was a grade A burger-napper.

Just In From The Concert
It's about 1:45 am and just walked in from the Chris Stapleton concert. It was killer.!!! It was way better than I ever imagined.
Wifey had a great time. She's beat. But at least she don't have to go in to work till 9 and gets off at 1. So at least she can come home and nap?

Good morning all. It's 67 outside and the high today for Houston is supposed to be 81. Thinking about the breakfast Rusty left for us, it occurred to me that I've never known anyone that actually eats grits. Occasionally I've seen them on breakfast menus as an option to hash-brown potatoes, everyone I have been around will get the potatoes. I've tried grits and did not care for them. I guess they would taste really good if I fasted for three days and then tried them again, but I bet the hash-browns would still taste better. Got to go scouting for hoards. The Emu hoard has vanished. According the the usual sources of questionable reliability a board member called NFI Consumer Products. Eleven unmarked vehicles arrived at sundown and by sunrise four squads of men wearing camo were eating breakfast before bed at the local Cracker Barrel (TM). The board member allegedly received a finders fee and 6% of the head bounties. Said member has been reportedly shopping for a Lincoln Town Truck (TM).

Up and going this morning,Friday and supposed to be a nice day. Going to be a lot of politics this week end,seems like it has been going on forever. Saw a stat on the computer news that that trust in the government has fallen to only 17% of the people. Pretty sad. Drift on! Poco was nice,hadn't listened to them in along time.

A trip to town today to buy food hope I don't get attacked by any of the hoards along the way. I hear the emus have started wearing camo feather dusters to avoid detection be on the lookout.
It's 55 here in the desert this morning going into the low 80's today and up to about 86 by Sunday. You gotta love it. Okay folks I gotta drift on out of here and check a couple of other sites be back in a bit.

I have only been a member here for a short time. I must say I have come to really enjoy it even though I am more of a fisherman than a shooter. I got my concealed license a couple months ago and it has kind of renewed my interest in shooting.
I belong to 3 other forums and there is so much bickering, arguing, and name calling it's crazy. People argue politics, gun control, deer hunting regulations, whether to raise the state speed limit, whatever. You would think people with like interests would all get along but that doesn't seem to be the case.
