Hey, hey 'n howdy, Drifters.
It's 56 here in my neck of the woods. 56. This is good.
Haven't had my caffeine yet.
Or my eggs. Wiff bacons.
I'm not all the way woked up yit. I know this because my fingers don't want to type so gud.
See y'all later. Meaning possibly Sunday. I got lots to do today.

BTW. It was raining at 5:15 AM. So I didn't get to stand outside,
see the planets in their awesome alignment,
and sing "Aquarius". :D

Morning drifters, it's 51 degrees in the desert this morning. Having a problem getting into youtube this morning so haven't been able to hear the music posted overnight but I'll get it.

No hoards overnight but I'm keeping my eyes open just in case. You never know when one of those feathered beasts will come sneaking around. There's just so many different kinds now it's becoming nerve racking what with emus, penguins and turkeys and with the turkeys maybe joining ranks that means they now have an Air force. Have to watch for those bombs from the air.

Well gotta run and see what else is on the net this morning and I feel sure it is a bunch of crazy people. Later.

My first kindle HD crashed and burned during drop tests from the bed. I seem to fall asleep with it in my hand.

My second kindle fire HD seems to be surviving. I have a new I pad with a bigger screen. It has the combat jacket cover on it. It's protected from being dropped now. I got a new bigger kindle tablet too. Now I'm never off line even my backup has backup. While two are charging I have the third one. I learned to turn them off when not on use. I'm just old school person in a high tech world. Crazy isn't it?

Give me the backwoods life, no phone, no electricity, with a stream nearby. Lol

Seriously Over Selpt!

Dang it! son came over last night and we piddled with my truck. The Blower Fan Motor has been raising cane for a few months now and I finally broke down and bought one. It was finally warm enough to fool with it. So we fiddle farted around with the truck till 3:30 a.m.!

It's 64 degrees and partly cloudy and high is expected to be in the mid 70's today here in Middle Tennessee.

Wifey was already gone when I woke up. Her Dad is in bad shape and he's in Hospice in the VA Hospital in Murfreesboro TN. He turned 88 years old two weeks ago. A former Marine. He's a good Christian Man. A soft spoken, quite humble man. I have nothing but high regard for him. He raised three daughters on his own back when that was basically, unheard of. And never remarried. Devoted himself to God and his kids. He always worked hard (Ford Motor Credit Regional Manager) and provided for them extremely well, after their Mother abandoned them. When wifey was only 3. Again, unheard of back then, in the late 50's! Wifey's Mom, if you can call her that, married a USAF general in the mid 60's. And after he retired from the pentagon in the late 90's they moved back here and opened a Charter Flight Service. And her mom and stepdad have tried to make amends, but wifey won't let go of her mom doing that to her and her sisters. So she hasn't been in contact with them in 15 or so years. And what contact she did have before that was very very casual. I asked her the other day would she ever make amends with her mom, now that wifey (now 59) and her mom (early 80's) is up in years? She said a flat NO! So I backed off from trying to encourage her, to at least see her. I didn't want to reopen old wounds! That's between her, her mom and God.

So enough, of all this depressing poo poo!

Let's get the party, oops I meant thread going with a more lively beat!

So I'm not sure what I want to do today? Just hang out with you guys, and surf the ole inter web! I may go hose off my clean truck? Wifey gets mad when I wash it! Puts her hands on her hips and says "why do you wash a clean truck? " and I say, how do you think it stays this way! It's just what old men do!

So back to your regularly scheduled Donkey Kong rematch broadcast!

Instead of dinner and a movie, my wife and I had lunch and a movie. Since Harper Lee passed away, I selected To Kill a Mockingbird. Powerful movie and Gregory Peck is stellar. Also gives us Robert Duvall in his movie debut...although he didn't have to work hard to memorize his lines. After seeing Duvall, my wife and I started talking about Secondhand Lions. That may be on the schedule for this evening's dinner and a movie. We will also squeeze some time in to sit on the porch as well since the weather here today is so beautiful. It's tough to fit this all into such a busy schedule, but somebody's got to do it.

Just finished washing my "CLEAN TRUCK"! Didn't take much except a quick rinse and a dry. can't stand BIRD POOP on my vehicles!

Went to the mail box. it was better than Christmas! NO BILLS! And I got my custom ordered VZ 1911 Grips! They Look GREAT! And got 2 sets of 1911 Grip Screws and a Wilson Combat Mag Well, I had ordered off eCrud. They also look good! And a Green Laser Flashlight combo I had ordered for my Grandson's MP-15 22lr. So now I have plenty to do. Install the grips/mag well and mess with the laser and bore sight it.

Wifey came home and said her Dad is NOT eating? And she feels like the end is near? it's VERY Depressing! But he's 88 and lived a Very Good Life. I could only hope to live to 88!

And wifey just took our Miniature German Schnauzer to get groomed' He's spoiled and gives them HECK every time! He's VERY smart and stubborn, like most German I've ever met! Not a insult but a FACT!

And I'm GLAD I ordered the grips directly from VZ! They are GREAT to deal with and walked me through the entire process. A PLEASEURE to deal with! And they knew exactly what I needed. I'm so GLAD I didn't go ahead and order them off eCrud! To save $10-15, like I originally started to. I would have totally messed up! So I'm fix'n to email Matt @ VZ and thank him for the Help and Great service!

So Back To Your regularly scheduled WORKING AT THE CAR WASH Pod Cast!
