Great Weekend!

The Good Guys Car Show was GREAT! I'm tired. Sun burnt. But had a Great time. Got to see old freinds that I don't get to see often. Saw way to much chrome and power and rolling money. The auto cross was one of the best I've ever seen.

If you get a chance, check it out on YouTube. Look up Good Guys Car Show Nashville 2016. And if you see a one legged man in or around a Blue 32 Ford waving like a fool. That was me. There were cameras everywhere. It was a GREAT Show!

Good morning all. This weekend I was thinking about the things I did to stay in shape when I was in my 20s. I now realize that in those days I smoked and or dipped Skoal, I drank heavily, ate junk food regularly, and may have worked out for an hour five days a week. Then I realized the secret to why I was in good physical condition in those days, I WAS YOUNG. If I had put in the time and effort then that I do these days there is no telling what I could have done. It's another muggy morning here, chances of rain today are set at 70%. I'll do my rain pattern walking course which zig zags back and forth close to home, so if it does start raining heavily I can get home fast. Each of you have a great day!
 
Good morning all,didn't get back here after yesterday morning and it took me a good bit of time to catch back up! More rain and flooding here in Texas today,sure hope it misses me, I just about have everything dried out from the last go round! I have always been a1911 fan but I think we may have to do an intervention on BCC as it appears he is on the verge of needing some help!

Good morning Drifters! It's Monday and the bug man is coming to deploy chemical weapons! I need to prep and dress and shave. Then comes the dreaded morning staff meeting where the wife tells me what to do.
In the mean time, Luzianne or Lipton? I'm drinking generic quart tea bags, from Publix (TM), made in a drip coffee maker that produced just under 2 liters. I've tried decaf tea...ghastly..as the Brits would say.
I suspect the Brits would not recognize the substance I consume as "tea".
Coach in shop, sigh, much to do and I am frustrated.
Needed development: A set of personal bluetooth communicators to hang on belt and just talk in a reasonable area, say 500 meters, I am currently adapting a set of motorcycle communicators to mount on hats.

Good morning drifters, it's 66 degrees in the desert this morning going up to about 90 they say. The sun is coming up but it's not up yet.

Uhm......Rusty....what sort of "accent plants" are you cultivating around the yard there brother? They look sort of familiar don't you know. These look to be the female plant, you didn't let them pollinate did you? It's better if you don't let them do that.......uhmmm......or so I've heard.

If you can find it, try some Community Coffee Company tea. I'll buy it, Lipton, or Luzianne based on price. Last year Luzianne had deals on bonus boxes of the quart bags, so I drank a lot of Luzianne. This year I'm getting coupons combined with sale prices on Lipton. My average cost on the 100 count Lipton boxes is about $2.25, the 24 count quart bag boxes were under $1 each. For two quarts I use five or six of the little bags. This morning I'm drinking Luzianne.

Good morning everyone,,,,It's Monday, my vacation is over and the wife is back at work! I'm bored! :rolleyes:
One thing about being retired is that I need to be on permanent vacation! :D
I really wish the weather would get nice and stay nice for everybody! ;)
I like my ice tea and I drink this stuff all the time!...

Good Morning!

I hope everyone had a restful night. I just woke up at 8:30, I'm still tired from the weekend. I don't have anything to do today except rest, nap, rest, nap and not in any order.

I Need to put stuff away, we used at the car show like coolers, lunch packs, duffle bags, the easy up tent etc. that we just threw in the garage last night, but it'll have to wait. I Need to catch up on 3 days of drift, my emails, delete a ton of spam emails, phone messages that I couldn't hear over the sounds of 500 plus horse powered cats-trucks, but all in due time. And go through my 100's of pictures and videos that I took of all the Hot cars and trucks, the HOT Girls and more Hot Girls. Did I mention the Hot Girls? God was thinking about me when he invented Hot Girls wearing Halter Tops and Tight Tight short shorts, so tight you could see the imprint of their, we'll never mind! You get my point.

So, Please Be Safe, Be Strong, Y'all Go outside and play! And Be Quite! I'm Trying To REST! :D

If all the bus driver jobs are taken, I'm sure there is still an opening in the sewer.:D

What to do today?
Get some work done or go wandering around on the mountain trails?
Then again. My mountain wanderings do burn calories and help to strengthen the leg muscles that still work.
That can be considered work?
My meds ain't kicked in yet, so, for now, I'm just sitting here watching "Top Gear" on the dvr.
 
I'm going to need scuba gear for the rest of the week, if the weather guessers are right. I'm going to see my Mom for lunch, & it will be interesting to see if there are any developments in the power struggle between Coco the corgi & Rosie the cat. My money's on Rosie...
