* This ISNA cartoon but explains Life very well, at least to me!
The concept of a boy and his dog is an appealing concept.

Red and Rover Comic Strip on GoComics.com

* kind of ironic, but the first time I posted this, the 10 character rule caught me! 🍅

Reading the post after it became official, showed me another irony 😋 The results of my asphasia! 😕
No matter how many times I proof read, the words look good to me, but with asphasia what looks good to my head and isn't necessarily correct? With all of the modern tools available on an electronic device, spell check, accucheck for example, the words do not fall together as they should? Perhaps staying with emoticons is a more prudent choice?
Less chance for 🔔 📢 📣

Old well, off to play with power tools, rotating machinery !
BTW, 70°, 🌞, 🔜 ☔ ⚡ 🔚 Friday ? Tonight 🌕

While we are all thinking on big money I want a full on machine shop full of automotive and regular machines.I could build anything that struck my fancy!

I was building drag race engines through my late teens. Of course I went on to other things. I should of stayed in that nitch I enjoyed that.

Good morning drifters. It's 80 degrees here in the desert this morning with a nice breeze blowing. Supposed to be breezy all over AZ this morning with gusts to 30+ mph in some areas. Temps should be lower than normal for the next week but the triple digits are coming.

No hordes were spotted or heard overnight but maybe they flew by in the darkness and I didn't see them. I know emus don't fly but maybe they are building gliders and drifting by in the darkness.

Lots of good posts lately everything from hats, music, cars, funnies and even guns. It's always enjoyable to chase down the drift.

What a nice Saturday morning. A very nice day to Drift.
Which I may partake in more later.
After I am finished with work.
Not housework. Not homework.
Workwork.
And gardening.
I am going to make a valiant effort do dig at least one bed today.

See y'all later!

I dig beds also, but for me a recliner is 👑 !

Good morning all! Happy Saturday!
Well can't say it's a great day here,,,,it's freakin raining again and overcast!
Have a contractor coming out this afternoon to look at refreshing / redecking and repairing my deck. It's funny this will be the third contractor to show up out of eight? The first two came and looked at it, never came back, never gave me a price? The others never showed up?. Guess they must have all the business they need.
I think what it boils down to is that their afraid to tackle the job since one of the main support posts needs to be repaired and braced. I built the deck and I'm not afraid of it?
I think what it's going to come down to is me redoing it myself over the course of the summer! Don't want to do it though because I would like it done before summer really starts! ;)
Well I guess we'll see what this guy has to say? :)

dreary rainy day today. We're gonna head on out to the Y for a good workout. I'm intending to really beat myself up today. Next Y day's on Tuesday. That gives me 2 days to heal before I do it all again.
We're gonna have pork chops, rice and brussels sprouts for supper. Then some caramel apple tartlets for dessert.
Hey, it's anniversary of our first meeting. That's a good excuse for a cheat day.

I beg to differ.
Try this.
Pasta with Brussel Sprouts Recipe
Even family members who don't care for brussels sprouts won't be able to resist them tossed with pasta in a light cream sauce.
TOTAL TIME: Prep/Total Time: 30 min. YIELD:4 servings
Ingredients
6 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 package (16 ounces) frozen brussels sprouts
1 cup uncooked spiral pasta

1/4 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons grated onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions
1. In a large saucepan, bring water and salt to a boil. Add brussels sprouts and pasta. Return to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 6-8 minutes or until sprouts and pasta are tender. Drain.
2. Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over pasta mixture and toss to coat. Yield: 4 servings.
