Another Ammo Shortage?

Some of the buyers of large quantities of popular calibers will be at the next gun show wanting to sell them at inflated prices.

Panic buyers are their prey.

Learned my lesson this last go around. I've been slowly accumulating ammunition that I need/enjoy shooting. So, have .22 LR and 9mm enough so that my pistols and rifles will not be just paper weights and wall hangers. Same with components for .30-06, which will allow me to continue to take my beloved 03 and 03-A3's and M-1's to the range for more than just show and tell. Sincerely. bruce.

I bought a lot of everything when it looked like there would be a President Dukakis. Turns out I was wrong but it has payed off in many ways. I recommend if you can buy a lifetime supply of reloading components you do it ASAP.

I can get just about any ammo in any quantity. Affordable, not so much (just like any of the early stages of panic in the past). I'm 70, got enough till dead, or 90 when I will have forgotten how to point "those shooty things."Joe

I did notice this on SGAmmo...

"Due to extremely high order volume over the past 11 days, we are only accepting new orders for a very small selection of products, and all other products have been temporarily removed from the website. We currently have an extremely heavy backlog of orders, and all orders will be filled, but expect shipping delays. We will be offering limited selections for the next few days, and a more complete inventory after that. Orders placed at this time may take 5 to 10 days to be shipped out."

The last of Sept. I bought 124 gr. S&B 9m/m for $240. and today it's $290. I don't know if there will be a shortage but I'm led to believe higher prices are already here. Larry
