Another Day In Paradise.

Our schools are closed for spring break this week and I took my eight year old grandson and his eleven year old sister to the sea shore surf fishing today. We left just after sunrise and spent the whole day. Caught some Whiting and just had a great day. The grand-daughter has been fishing with me for five years now. It was her brothers first trip. He has a lot to learn to catch up with his sister, but I think he will do just fine. Maybe some one on one with grandpa would be a good idea.

Aw, what a nice Opa you are.
I have a Daughter, Granddaughter and Greatgrandson up in Mousetown right now, but they will be down here on Thursday for some of Opa's famous cooking. Can't wait!

I really miss surf fishing. Was an every other weekend event when I was in the Navy. I sure do miss the ocean. Sounds like a wonderful time to spend with the grandchildren.
I am going to Texas next week to see my third newborn grandson.
