We finally got some sun this weekend and I decided to take and share a picture of an Outdoorsman I picked up a few months ago. It happens to be a birth year gun (1951) that was relocated from the wilds of NW Tennessee where it had resided for some time. I can report that all numbers match, ... and the bullets go where they're supposed to.

Nice OD....!!! Its really a special feeling owning one of them, you should take it out for a test drive every weekend!! congratulations, cheers!!!

Those ODs are neat guns! You will love it,especially when you give it some proper feedin'. This one is from '52 & spent most of it's life in Kentucky.

very nice!!

the OD is one of the greatest revolver's ever, perfect fit and finish. just
doesn't get any better!

classic 1950's build to last a lifetime..

Larry,

Like most of my S&W's this OD shoots better than I do. I do find that, with their N frame weight, my 38/44's sure make it easy to shoot well. I also like the larger post-war sights on this one, ... easier for aging eyes.
