Reasonable minds can differ over individual NRA policies and positions. But the NRA-ILA website is one of the reasons the NRA deserves every gun owner's support.

For example, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey ruled on September 28, 2018 to deny a preliminary injunction on the New Jersey Law that reduced the limit on magazine capacity from 15 to 10 rounds. This means the new ban is in effect and the grace period to get rid of any magazine from 11 to 15 rounds will end soon.

This is a very big deal, but the only reason I heard of the ruling was because I checked the NRA-ILA website for New Jersey firearm laws

Moved out of the Peoples Republic of New Jersey 33 years ago, thank heaven. Had to go back last week because I have two Granddaughters and their parents there. What a ZOO!

Jersey?? About as messed up as California.

Heck my car would be illegal to drive in NJ as I have window tint that is to dark!

I vacation for a month at SML every year. We here in NJ don't pay tax on food and many other items you do in Va including NEWSPAPERS-you can't make this up. Where in NJ was that ZOO?

NJ is getting their tax money from somewhere. If something isn't taxed that is taxed in other states, something in NJ is taxed that isn't in other states. In some states, it's expensive to buy a car. In others, it's cheap to buy a car, but expensive to register it every year. And so on . . .

New Jersey is number 9 on this list. Virginia doesn't appear . . .

US states with the highest tax burdens

They're getting it in real estate taxes which are deductible. Everyday taxes on food, clothes, and OMG newspapers are not. I'll take NJ taxes any day over Va.

Couple items here may change your thinking. All I'm saying is that there's always an upside and a downside to every tax situation. As an example, "I get to deduct mortgage interest" also means "I have a massive house payment" . . .
