A few days ago Classic12 posted pics of his P210-1 that inspired me to get some photos of mine and post here.

Here's how I found mine. Back in the mid 1980s while visiting a good friend he showed me this SIG P210. I knew nothing about the gun at the time, but it just screamed QUALITY! Much later in 2000 my friend had suffered a debilitating stroke and his wife had asked a small group of his friends to help her to liquidate some of his collectibles. We were finished with our task for the day and we were all sitting around the dining room table when the wife pulled this gun out of a cabinet and asked us what she should do with it. I hadn't seen the gun in about 15 years. So the consensus at the table was that the gun was probably worth about $450.00. Still knowing nothing about the P 210 I said I would buy it.

I later learned that this example is a commercial production P 210-1 which was made in 1953. Though not in very good condition, I was fortunate to get the original box which is numbered to the gun. I don't believe that this gun has ever been fired except perhaps at the factory when manufactured. Here are a few pictures.

Notice in this first picture that the magazine is finished as nicely as the gun.

Very nice

I love the P210-1. I've got the box around here somewhere too...

P210-4

Loeman,

That is a gem!

My P210-4 is going to the range with me on a weekly basis since many years and it is a joy to shoot. It shoots my hardcast TC pretty well, too.
