All the guys I posted with ARE gone,far gone-FAR OUT.

1-in the middle? NEVER, always on top
2-Foresight? No ,___ skin
3-Lawyer from La.? Yes I had one once, and that was plenty.

Off topic: Does anyone remember being involved with a guy from around Ft Worth who was so ticked off that Gold Boxes were selling for $50 and up?
We, and others above, led him down that winding road and he took the bait and got canned?

Probably a waste of breath, but here goes-
Not ONE post was deleted when the post counts were reset.
Not ONE post was deleted when the post counts were reset.

They were already gone.
The board was started on Feb 29, 2000.
For the first 9 years and 3 months, pages and pages of threads were deleted in a process called PRUNING.
This was done to keep posts below the 250,000 mark because the hosting company for the board charged a LOT more money if that 250,000 mark was exceeded.

So, in early June of 09 we moved the board here with around 250,000 posts.
That means you could have been posting here for 9 years and built a Post Count of 25,332, but you really only had 16 posts that were actually still in existence here.
Are ya gettin' it yet?---

When we moved the board, Dave went through a laborious process that takes MANY hours, like most of a day, and he had to babysit it non-stop.
In the first move, the post counts did not transfer.
We talked about it, and decided they were soooooooooo important to you, we would have to do it again, and be down most of ANOTHER day!
It worked the second time, and precious post counts were retained.
A couple of months later, in a completely unrelated repair process, the software reset all Post Counts to the actual posts remaining on the board.
REMEMBER- it did not delete any posts, it just reset the meter to the ACTUAL number of posts you had that were still in existence on the board.
Your posts had been consistently deleted in the 9 years and 3 months preceding June, 09.
So, after moving the data TWICE to preserve your post counts, they were accidentally reset about two months later.
Just one of the tragedies of life.
Get over it.
You might note that we moved in June, 09 with around 250,000 posts.
We now have 1,918,417 as I type this.
We haven't pruned since we moved in June, 09.
