I bought this 380 way back, when Larry was running the show, and one of the first to leave his shop.
As the first buyers know, we paid well over what the new ones sell for today. Nonetheless, a great gun that goes with me where none can.

I also have an early (April 1989) .32 that I got when you could not get any extra magazines. At some point I must have put my name on a notification list and several years later I was notified that extra mags were finally available.

Purchased this .32 version in January 1989 for $215.00. I had to put down a deposit ($130) when I ordered the gun.

Very reliable with Winchester Silvertips, Federal Premium and PMC Bronze 60 gr HP. Reliability seems largely tied to the OAL of the cartridges. The longer ones, like MagTech (.960") and Aguila FMJ (.957") won't even fit in the magazine. Ammunition recommendations now include the following......from the company web page:

Winchester Silvertip 60gr. HP
Federal Premium Hydra Shok 65gr. JHP
Speer Gold Dot 60gr. GDHP
PMC Bronze 60gr. JHP

Fun to shoot....with the recommended ammunition. The ebony finger support on the magazine was an "add-on".

That 380 is a sweet little pistol!

I had one of their .25 acp models when they first came out, getting rid of it was not a good decision.

Never owned one but shot one each of the .25's and .32's. On the two I've shot, reliability was a big issue - although I now understand that they recommend only certain types of ammo (Winchester Silvertips if I recall correctly) and my friend was probably not using what he should have been - his bad because I was not aware at the time. He sold both of them because of the reliability issues. Had he been using the recommended ammo the results would have probably been better.

They are cute little guns though.....

I've owned three .32's and a .380 over the years. Don't own any now, but fantastic little autos. The 32's were ok to shoot, not totally pleasant, but the .380 was actually a little painful to shoot. Not quite 360PD with full magnum pain, but not fun either. But I carried those little guys everywhere. I still have a box of the original .32 Silvertips I bought new back in the mid nineties with my first Seecamp.

There has been one lurking around here for several years. It goes a lot of places where you can't have guns.
Last time Itchy and I went to the range I emptied a mag in the face of a B-27 target at 7 yards.
Itchy did the same thing just south of his belt buckle.
I think it would have spoiled a BG's whole day.

We bought our son a new Southwick, Ma .32 about five Christmas's ago. I liked it so much I bought myself one within the next year. I bought it used from a forum member. It is a Milford, Ct .32 that looked unfired when I received it. We have found no difference in quality between the two pistols.

I've had a .32 for probably a decade, and it has been carried a lot. But these days, the RM380 is usually what I'm packing. The Seecamp still gets the occasional summer shorts work. I just recently picked up the Rohrbaugh, but have yet to put a round through it. I plan to replace the springs before doing so as I have no idea how much it was shot, or how well it was maintained.

I just bought me Seecamp 32 about two months ago. Its very well made. I took a photo of the Seecamp 32 on top of my Kel Tec P32, just to show how small this thing really is. Yes, it only works with specific ammunition, but I don't think that's a big deal.

Seecamp ??? Absolutely. I've enjoyed over 1600 rounds through my .32 . Nothing but Seecamp recommended ammo ( mostly PMC Bronze with some Silvertips, Speer, and Federal occasionally). My daily carry for nearly 4 years.

I had a 32 for a few years but after shooting the LCPII I sold it and never looked back. Larry built a great little gun at a time when there were few options.
All that has changed.

NOT A SEECAMP BUT: Only one time I saw a variant of a 3032 Berretta Tomcat, call an ALLEY CAT. It had real night sights and oversized controls, Was double the going retail price!

Have a .32. Last of the Larry made models. Wife bought it for my 26 birthday. Carried it a lot and love the craftsmanship. I'll admit that after a few range trips where my wife struggled racking the little.32 I opt to carry a reliable bodyguard:380. One of my carry prerequisites is that my wife must be able to confidently operate. That said I love the Secamp and it does come along at certain times

I still have mine, purchased in 1993. Nifty little gun. Around here the dealer I bought it from, and his cohorts, used to call them "doctors' guns." Apparently several local physicians had come to him looking for Seecamp .32s, which he always tried to keep on hand if he could. I never met any of these docs, but always thought the idea of a medical doctor shooting another human being was incongruous. (Certainly nothing at all "wrong" with anyone defending themselves.)

This dealer (George V.) used to be one of our members here. Sadly, gone now. Quite an individual. I miss him.

I've owned a .32ACP Seecamp for going on 40 years. I've enclosed a photo of the backstops of my .32ACP pistol collection (left to right: Seecamp, Beretta Tomcat, CZ-70). The Seecamp has an almost cult-like following. It's definitely not a range gun, but a perfect excuse to always being armed. As it doesn't have any sights, I cannot attest to its accuracy, but it has been very reliable with Winchester Silver-Tips.

Unknown to some, Ludwig Wilhelm Seecamp was not only a genius designer/maker of pistols, he was also a rifle builder. These two photos, taken by Larry some years ago show the action and floor plate of a rifle that his dad built from scratch.
