I have had a number of Sigs that have come and gone including a 229, 228, 220, 225 and a 230. I currently have a Revolution Compact C3 1911. I got it in a trade and its turned out to be an excellent 1911. Despite the lack of respect that the Sig 1911's seem to get on the internet, it has proven to be one of the better 1911's I have owned. I may be getting another 220 in trade soon. I am not a big fan of the DA/SA trigger but I can adapt again I guess. The 220 is an excellent .45 pistol.
Have an older yellow box 226 in 9mm with several mags from the 1980's even a few of the SIG 20? 30? rd mags. NEVER even loaded one.
Also have my two SIG 229 ex Mt Hwy Patrol issued guns. Bought the first when we went to the RAIL models, the second was a gift from the boys when I retired. Both are .357's.
I have been without a 220 for several years now. I generally have one in the safe. But my HK Tactical with suppressor has filled THAT niche nicely.
I'm a real SIG handgun fan...especially the 1980 and 1990's guns.
