My Dad ordered a couple a while back and gave me one so I finally opened it and have wiped down my carry gun and knife for the day for the last couple weeks. Haven't cleaned or done much else with it Birchwood Casey Sheath or Barricade whatever it's called these days was my usual for many years. Just wondered your thoughts. Thanks.

I use Johnson's paste wax for the same purpose. One can lasts about forever. Scrap cotton cloths are free.

Tuff cloth

I've kept one in my bug out bag for years. It has come in handy several times when things have gotten wet. I dry whatever with a clean cloth and use the tuff cloth to give it a coating for rust protection. It has worked well. Doesn't take the place of a detailed strip and clean, but does keep the rust from coming until I can.

Sorry, never had the occasion to use one. I use a yellow Microfiber Costco Cloth treated with Rig #2 Oil. I always wipe down my guns before slipping them back into their rugs or cases at the Range. Replace when grungy.
