CGF beats California Attorney General Kamala Harris' MSJ in 10-day waiting period federal Second Amendment lawsuit. Judge Ishii says that California's 10-day waiting period ban "as applied against those who have previously purchased firearms or who possess certain state licenses is the equivalent of a prior restraint, and thus should be analyzed under strict scrutiny."

That sounds very good. Can you post a link to the story or case? I'd like to read more about it.

I've thought for years that a 10 day waiting period for those that already own a gun is stupid. This could clear the path to getting rid of it. I also see a path where it could make it worse, but I'll leave that for another time.

I am still confused as to the "left's" confusion and or total disregard of the part of the 2nd Ammendment that says, "Shall not be infringed."

My understanding is that the AG, Kamala Harris, petitioned for the case to be tossed out. However, the Judge found enough merit to proceed stating there was a real guestion as to the constitutionality of the 10 day wait.
