I have some mechanic friends at a near by shop I drop in on from time to time, (we all ride motorcycles).
Of course there are plenty " blue-flamed" descriptions of car factory engineers, but some of the loudest and most brutal are reserved for the designers of the wheel sensors for tire inflation.
I notice in Brazil,(Rio and Porto Allegro) all the public transports have a permanently attached air compressor hose to each wheel, on some kind of rotating device mounted in the center of the wheel.Apparently each engine is fitted with some kind of air making device.
No idea how they work; or even IF they do.
The winner of this thread's solution is the "black tape" installer !
