Anyone carry a Mdl 332 or have had to use it?

I bought one because it only weighs 13 oz loaded, so I NEVER leave home without it ( just like Mastercard ). I realize that in the debate of size and stopping power, this size weapon is looked down on, but I put some C/T lazer grips on it and I figure a clean shot with this is better than a large caliber I left at home. Here in Florida, big CC guns end up NOT being carried. I am wondering if anyone out there has had any situations where they were carrying this model and had you use it -- or just your overall opinion would be appreciated. Thanks

Well.. It will work. It wouldn't be my first choice, but definitely better than nothing. Personally I'd go for a 642 since the size/weight isn't much different.

Still.. you pull that 332 on some thug... very likely he'll be needing new underwear.

I did look at the 642, but the 6 shots vs 5 is what tipped the decision for me --- and that the H & R loads are close to .38 non +P in energy.

I agree with USAF385.

I would (and do) go with the 642 WITH +P loads. Wouldn't carry standard pressure .38s. .38+P is the smallest I'd carry.

But, like mentioned.. without a doubt the 332 is acceptable and better than nothing.

I bought this S&W #331 TI .32 H&R magnum for my daughter. I carry it and do not feel undergunned at all.
