Is this ammo worth it? I have the 9mm sigma and I'm wondering if it would even be worth it to try this ammo in quantities large enough to make the shipping charge worth it.

I don't have experience with these re-loads, however I did discover federal "new" FMJ ammo at Wally World (wall mart) for my sigma40 that works flawlessly, about the same price, and NO SHIPPING.
You guys are probably all over this, but maybe not............

I'd take a look at aimsurplus.com if you want to buy in large quantities online. Brand names (Wolf, PMC, Federal) and pretty decent prices. Buy at least 10 boxes and it makes it more than worth it.

I tried USAAMMO both in .223 and .40

Both ran flawlessly, the only reason I wont go back is the SHIPPING

I'm not talking about their reloads, I'm talking about their new ammunition.

I haven't used the new, only reload stuff, but shipping from Oregon to TX was steep. Add sales tax on top (based in TX???) and it wasn't that great a buy for reloads. You wouldn't pay tax, but if they ship your order from Oregon, shipping would probably push price up pretty good.

My review of the reloads if anyone wants to peep it:

I've used their new in both 380 in my BG380 and their 9mm in my SD9, with no problems at all. I have not used a lot of it so far(100 rounds each).

The 380 was made with Blazer brass and the 9 was made with Speer brass. The ammo shipped from Lewiston Idaho which is where CCI/Speer manufacturing facilities are located, I believe, so they could be using the CCi facilities for their manufacturing. I am planning on buying more.

I've always found the best deal on the same ammo at Wally World. And the same as you, not a single hiccup. I had it less than a year and put around seven to eight hundred rounds and never one FTF or FTE. IMHO i think this is the best bang for your buck for the Sigma. I lover my Sigma and can't wait to get another!

I've shot a couple hundred rounds of USA ammo through my Sigma, PF9, and the wife's .38 special, re-loads, no problems at all. I'd buy again, and probably will.

I ran a box of 150 thru my .40 Sigma, no hiccups. Had to scrub the barrel real good after, tho. (Unjacketed) Other'n that, she ate it all with no complaints.

I was looking at their prices and was thinking to my that they weren't that cheap. I'd hate to see what the shipping is to the PRNJ. I load everything I shoot except for P/D ammo which I prefer to have factory loads.

Their site has a shipping calculator so you don't have to guess the cost.
