Anyone here watch a TV show called: Sleepy Hollow?

If I were willing to risk the wrath of the Gorilla, I would be less than discreet in expressing my willingness to do any Nicole Beharie were to request of me.

Yeah, the wife is hooked and I like it too.
Got a kick out of a recent episode when the star ( from the 1700s ) took a shot at a bad guy and dropped his pistol that was handed to him by the modern day police woman. She asked him why he dropped the pistol after firing then running. He said " I already fired it, does it have more than one shot?" She replies , " yes, a lot more!"
Believe it was a Glock 17 or such.

How bout it, that scene cracked me up. :D

My wife and I don't watch regular TV shows. The last one was Lost and we started a few years late and bought the DVD's to get caught up.

I saw this one advertised and thought I wanted to try it, my wife watched too, we were hooked. We missed a couple of weeks in NOV for the Missouri deer hunt, 2 weeks in Kansas for that hunt and have decided to buy the year one DVD when it comes out.

It is very good. Cranes views from the late 1700's on changes can open your eyes to how we have changed. And I'm not talking cars vs mules.

Yes, I think it's just a fun show to watch. I don't watch much tv - usually just one to two series at any time, and this is one right now.

One of my FB friends got me to watch the show, turns out it's one of the better shows that's been on the tube in quite a while, ranks up there with Hell on Wheels in my book.

My biggest gripe is that it comes on Monday night at 9, right when I have to leave for work and now Fox is making it difficult to watch the episodes I've missed online. Guess one of these days I'm gonna have to join the new millenium and buy a DVR:(

Anybody catch the flub, where the Hispanic officer (former boyfriend of Abby) is accosted by the dead Andy Brooks (John Cho), realizes he is dead, and promptly disappears from the series? Wha hoppen?

I dont know but, if its on DvD, I aim to find out. :-))

Hey ringo! What a cool tag! There are still, I believe, 3 episodes remaining in this season. There has been a 'lag' with Fox re-running some episodes. Don't know if this Monday or the following will be the first of the 3. Stay safe, partner. Don't let Moloch get you.

Abbie: You invented The Boston Tea Party so that you could steal something from the British?
Ichabod: At the time it was referred to as The Destruction of the Tea. You've coined a far more festive name.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ichabod: What's insane is a ten percent levy on baked goods. You do realize the Revolutionary war began on less than two percent. How is the public not flocking to the streets in outrage? We must do something.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Police Detective: Do you admit to cutting off his head, yes or no?
Ichabod: Nooo. First I shot him, then he rose back up. Cutting off his head seemed the next logical step.

i do enjoy the "history lessons" every week...i like seeing how creative they can be tying the "continuing" story line into history using their artistic license. one episode made mention of crane and abby being tied together for 7 years...i wonder if this means the producers are planning a 7 season run...

I've only watched bits and pieces here and there but did see the part about the ten percent on baked goods and thought it was hysterical.

Thank you on all accounts. :-)) Ill be looking around for DvD releases. I did a quick search and Wikepedia seemed to say it just started playing in Sept or Oct? It seems to have a very large following which is good. :)

The series has some great writers, I like this above.

I do not remember their names but they've had several big hits already.

I like the idea of casting an Englishman for Crane, after all he was until tea time in Boston......

An aside, I have read we drink coffee because we could beat the Crown out of tea tax.
