Anyone try those LuLu mag speedloaders?

The UpLula is must have for Shield 9mm mags (I'm sure for both calibers) at least for me. My older buddy saw me loading some 7 & 8 round mags and asked me to get him one. It's on the way from Midway. Works great on my other semi-auto handgun magazines. I like their similar tool (MagLula I think it's called) for AR mags. Move lever one way - add a round. Move lever other way - add a round. Not mandatory for 5.56 but they're so smooth - almost an indulgence :)
 
A1 2 thumbs up I could not load by hand the .40mag/.40ammo or .357 mag /.357 ammo manually and having the damnest time using the
glock loader bought the UpLULA @ Amazon and there is no turning back. Rowlette

I would have thrown my 9c into the Sacramento river if not for the Uplula! I could not load those magazines and neither could a friend of mine. My friend is a really big guy and strong enough to crush a "progressive's" skull with one hand, but after man-handling the first 2 rounds into one of my mags he just handed it back to me and told me I was on my own.

I've since cut 1/2 coil off the mag springs and altered the followers to allow me to squeeze that 10th round in (CA gun). I can load the mags by hand now but it's so much easier with the Uplula.
 
Like others have said, this mag loader makes range trips more pleasant. Now, here's the downside...the rate of ammo "consumption" is much greater with the loader!
 
I have been using an Uplula for several year now, and can't imagine not having it. Definitely a thumb saver.
 
LOL. I load 3 round shot groups to slow myself down so I don't burn it all up in a few minutes. Also have 3 mags I rotate to be sure all is well with them.

Thanks for starting an UpLula thread.... :D

We love them!

But now watch what happens------ We can't quit saying how awesome UpLula's are and lots of guys will chime in being as funny as they can. It's kind of a break from the serious stuff we deal with otherwise!!!!! :D

I used mine today for my .380 and my 9mm. My boy and I shot over 800 rounds and he (11 years old) thinks loading the mags is FUN!!

You will love your UpLula!!

Gotta have it for the shield 40 cal mags....them last two are murder on the fingers
 
I'm sure to annoy several people here, but my HKS speedloader is better, cheaper, and easier to use, at least for the full-size magazines. :eek:

Unfortunately, it doesn't work at all for my single-stack Shield magazines, so I've now gotten one of the LULAs, which works for both. (And yes, you REALLY need it to load the Shield magazines without killing your thumb!)
 
Unless you really like sore thumbs and or fingers from loading 50 to 200 rounds into your magazines do yourself a favor and get one of these necessities. I think all manufacturers should include them with their weapons.

The Universal pistol loader unloader made in Israel is not an accessory it is a MUST HAVE for anyone who uses a semi auto!
 
I'm about to put mine to the test.... We have a gun shoot tomorrow on base and this will help save my fingers!
