Was on the Hodgdon loading site and noticed how it was close to a few powders that I use.

If it worked out for you I may pick up some if it becomes available.

Thanks for any info.

I haven't seen any in 2 years. I used it for my Rooster Boosters I made for South Dakota. One pound would get me around 250 rounds and that would last several years as I was feeding 2 other hunters. I have a few left for this year and then it is factory.

I use it in 9mm but not in 38 Spl (yet)
115 Berrys -5.0 ~5.2gr 1070fps
124 Berrys -4.5~5.0 1000fps
147 Berrys -4.0 880 fps
the are plated bullets, if using jacketed, reduce and work back up

I've used it with good luck on 147 gr JHP and LFN (coated) with very good luck. I loaded some 135 gr LRN (coated) and could never find a load that gave me the accuracy I wanted. It has become my "go to" for all 147 gr. loads.

I never tried it in 38 spec., but load data are available.

When it was readily available, it was all I used for 9mm, 40 S&W, 38 spl and 38 Super. Now I use what I have left for 9mm only. I use 5.1 grains for both 115 and 124 grain fmjs or copper clads. I'm using Titegroup and Unique for 40 and 38/357. I like WSF. I'll be buying all I find when it shows up again. I hear Winchester AutoComp is similar in performance for 9mm/38 super/40 S&W.

My load is:
WST 5.0 Grains
Ranier 124 Gr Plated
Fed Cases
Rem 1 1/2 Primer
COL 1.095

This load gave great accuracy from my SD9VE and glock 34.
I did have access to a chrony and tested from the G-34 with COL @ 1.10 at 7100 ft elevation avg velocity 1104.

YMMV :D

The OP was asking about WSF, not WST, but thanks for sharing.

I found some WSF a week ago at my local Cabela's. That makes 3 pounds sitting on my shelf....time to get the Dillon going and load a few rounds.

I have tried a few loads with WSF and liked it.
9mm-147 Zero JHP and 4.0 grains of WSF, 147 Bayou FP, 4.0 grains, 125 Zero JHP-5 grains of WSF.

I use WSF in high pressure, 9mm and .40, and 231 in low pressure, .45 and .38. loads.
