Anyone watching football tonight?

So far (middle of the 3rd quarter), Penix's NFL stock is dropping like an anvil. Any pass longer than 5 yards is way off target. He's averaging only a paltry 5.5 yards per pass, less than Michigan is averaging per rush.

He was throwing off his heels all night and could barely stagger off the field after the game. Yet all he could say was that Michigan "did nothing". What a bitter man.

I do have a ton of respect for Coach DeBoer tho, what a record he's put together, pure class.

After a season that Michigan had and the game they played last night, I think the sore loser syndrome is just not appropriate here. If Georgia, Alabama, or Florida (just kidding) had lived up to their hype, I would have congratulated them, but they did not! Michigan, with their perfect win-loss record got no respect all season long with the perineal rankings leader, Georgia staying ahead in the rankings was disappointing but expected. Happy for the Maize & Blue.

Congrats Michigan from a Georgia fan. As long as it isn't The Ohio State I can live with it.

The QB not tossing the ball in "Front" of the runner &
the player not catching the ball, when it comes to him,
can cause a problem for a team.

I enjoyed the first half.

It was a better game than one "Pro" game that I watched, where the loosing team only converted............
ONE
third down out of the whole game.

Harbaugh said he is going to get 15-0 tattooed on his shoulder.
He needs to get something else tattooed along with it.
LSU DID IT FIRST
:D
Now for the long game. First of all I'm glad Michigan won. Now Harbaugh can go to the NFL which means Michigan will be looking for a coach. Brian Kelly has made no bones about the fact that if the job was offered, he's go to Michigan. Good. LSU needs a new coach. I like what that Sheronne Moore did taking over for Harbaugh.

Bob Ufer broadcast a remarkable 362 straight games over 37 years for the Maize and Blue from 1945 to 1982.

I grew up with the Bob Ufer years, when the #1 perineal pairing in the country was Michigan vs Ohio State. They ended up with a combined 36 appearances in the Rose Bowl until college playoffs started.

Bob was the Michigan announcer and perhaps the most over the top guy out there. Schembechler - Woody Hayes games were epic. Ufer would pretend to have a coffin at his desk and every time Michigan would score, you would hear hammering and then Bob would proclaim "There's another nail in the coffin of Woody Hayes. Those were the good old days when we had three VHF and one UHF channels on the TV and the radio was the way to "watch" the U of M games.

Bob's announcing clips are in the link below and the first one is a poem about Woody's coffin. Over the top, absolutely, but it made for great radio!

Most of the news broadcasters are expecting Harbaugh to be fired within a week or two for cheating so it won't hurt the Michigan program as bad with him gone.

We've grown to expect this drivel from ESPN, Ohio, and Michigan State peeps. Sorry, but NOT gonna happen!

There's a $125M contract (10 yrs) on the table right now - whether he signs it is of course dependent on if he goes to the NFL. Most Michigan fans are thankful for what he's done and would wish him well. BUT, we'd also love for him to sign that contract!

Caje—what's Ed Orgeron up these days besides counting him money? The football gods could not have created a more perfect match and coach for LSU. Your AD should look to his neighbors to the north for guidance. If we Hawgs can forgive and forget with the ol' skirt chasing devil Bobby Petrino, surely you can give poor coach O another shot?

I agree with your sentiment, but it ain't gonna happen. Ol' Ed likes his time off, I think.

Hey!! the cheating at Michigan just didn't happen in one year. I know that cheating in college football starts at the TOP. USC 2004 Reggie Bush/ Pete Carroll, cheaters!!!. Auburn was denied a shot at the NCG. Harbaugh can now go to the pro's just like Carroll did.
