SCCY is pretty much in the same category as Kel-Tec (especially since the Founder of SCCY is a former Kel-Tec exec). The original SCCY CPX 9mm was a clone/copy of his old company's P11.
They are 'okay' for the price point, but nowhere near the same league as S&W, XD, or Glock. Hammer Fire DAO (aka Traditional DAO) is a whole different animal from Striker Fire.
If a Long, Strong, trigger is what you like and feel comfortable with, go for it.
