Hi everyone,
So somehow I managed to screw up the install of an Apex FSS...
I put the new trigger and sear in first because I was waiting for my sight pusher in the mail. After I put the new trigger in, everything seemed to function fine.
Today I received the sight pusher, so I just installed the new striker block and spring.
When I did a function test on the striker block, I realized it was failing to pop all the way back out. This allowed the striker to move forward. If I give the slide a smack with my hand, the striker block pops all the way out.
I then decided to put the slide back on to see if the gun even functions. It doesn't. I rack the slide, pull the trigger and nothing. The striker either isn't cocking, or it is failing to fire.
So what the heck did I screw up? The striker block and spring seemed like the easiest part of the whole install, but apparently not for me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
