If you are willing to use multiple sources for components they are not that difficult to get. The only bad part is the Hazmat fee incurred on each separate shipment.
The only P.I.T.A. these days seems to be procurement of .22 LR ammo in bulk. Yea, you can get an occasional box of 50 or 100, but the days of buying a case or at least a few Bricks seems to be over - at least at somewhat reasonable pricing.
