Are you an organ donor?

Once I'm done with it, they are wecome to anything still of use. Even old, weak eyes might be a God send to a blind person. When they're done picking over the cadaver, my instructions are to burn the rest. Anything else is a waste.

My understanding is that it is big business in China. Don't know if it has any truth to it or not but I once heard that if you get tossed in prison and on death row, which may not take much of a crime, that they put you in front of the firing squad. If you are young and strong they will accidently miss the main target and hit a little high and to the right on your shoulder. Then they take you to the emergency room and pretend you are going to be fixed up except you don't wake up. The body parts snatcher took what some rich person wanted. Like I said, not sure if it is true. Sounds likely though.

Yes, even though I do most of my donations in California, not organ.

Seriously, yes I have been signed up for many years and it is in writing in my living trust.

I have a feeling that my liver isn't going to do anybody any good

. As a Cop I really should be but, I can't abide the thought of a lib getting my goodies.

I used to donate one of my organs alot before I got married.
Now I am registered to donate whatever they need after I am dead.
Hell, I won't need any of them after I deep six.

I am --- some are Farfisa, some Hammond quality, none are useful to me upon my demise...

I'm currently heeding Mr. Rumbaugh's sage counsel.
Actually, the DOL took one look at my burned out a** and said "Please Mr. Dog, you'd be doing a favor to the citizens of Washington state by NOT inflicting the repairs sure to inevitabaly befall the recipient". I agreed. Then went home and mixed a Martini.

YES! All organs and any other tissues they want!
Not long ago in a nearby town a 14 year old kid wanted to pull a Columbine style shooting at school. He took a shot at a teacher then ran into the bathroom, shot himself and died. Very thoughtfully his family gave permission his organs be 'harvested" and they were used in 7 recipients.
Think about a family member (child) needing a vital organ next time you are asked, it might help you make up your mind!

I've been listed as an organ donor for years on my driver's license. Since then I've opted for immediate cremation upon my death. Guess I'll have to find out if there's a conflict.

Yup, when I'm dead they can take the useful parts and burn the rest! I'll be in a far better place and won't care.

Years ago I would have been a donor. But not for the past 20 years or so. Too much in america has changed, and I no longer look at everybody I see as "fellow americans". I consider a large portion to be interlopers and america haters. I would only donate if I knew my body parts were going to patriotic americans.
