Are you smarter than your cat?

One of the best commercials ever along with the old EDS cat herders one.
Darn! Beat me to it! After watching the Silverado ad, I thought, "It's time to post the EDS cat herding ad again." :D

And re walkin jack's sig line:

This shoud explain a lot about our feline companions.

"Two professional engineers illustrate the proper care and practical benefits of cats. None of the cats, humans, or engineers were mistreated in the making of this film. They were however, slightly annoyed."

My "mutilated" cat had no problem bringing home mice and birds as gifts. Apparently the cat didn't mind being mutilated, and the sofa appreciated it.

Declawing a cat is the equivalent of having your fingertips cut off at the first knuckle, just behind the fingernail. If you think your cat didn't mind it, maybe you wouldn't mind it either. And your sofa is an inanimate, insensible object that doesn't "appreciate" anything.

I don't want to get into a declaw or not debate but something to consider is that declawing is always better than a cat being euthanized or being on the street and running the risk of trauma or disease. Ultimately, it's a decision for the cat owner and their vet.

There is no right answer for everyone.
