The results so far are very interesting. As the age categories progress so do their number of posts to them.

Just turned 64............. how did that happen?
Couple of things that skew the poll.......
Older farts have:
1) more time to hang out and post here (we only sleep 5-6 hours a night)
2) more knowledge to share (too soon old and too late wise) ,
3)extra $$s to buy guns (Kids gone//out of school)................

I just realized, your poll is a little off because of the way you set it up.
For example, I am 55 so I actually fit into two categories. 50-55 AND 55-60.
I noticed that this is true for any age divisible by 5.
Depending on which way people whose ages are divisible by five answer, it could skew the results a bit....

Old as dirt (67), with a mind that wants my body to be 28 again.

63 and I carry a J frame most of the time. I only own one auto a Glock 26 just in case.

When I was young, used to think I was brave. Now that I am older, realize I was just drunk and stupid. Nother couple of years and will have been on forum longer than some members have even been.
And carry a 45 acp all day every day. If I wake up in the morn, will thank God and deal with it. if can get out of bed without hurting myself, it be a bonus.

I am 77. I grew up with the GREATEST GENERATION home from the war. It was great!!!!. Firearms everywhere, stories told and retold,fighting, smoking,drinking,all the vice's. The baseball coach was ex Detroit Tiger,farm system, that was a Marine on Guadalcanal. I learned to shot and hunt. You could buy a Krag for $7.00. Friend, you name it I did it. It was AMERICA, RED WHITE AND BLUE. Mom bought me my first rifle at Monkey wards. I now carry S&W, Colt, looking at the Kimber.
