Mentally: 18
Physically: way past 65 (the last category on the poll).

Yes, my mind is constantly writing checks my body can't cash.

As for what I carry, Kimber 9mm in the winter, Kel-tec .380 in the summer, with a Colt 45 Officer's Model typically close by for back up.

I fall in the 56 year old age group and have had to start useing reading glasses but I only wear them when reading . This past week actually I happened to look at myself in the mirror for the first time while wearing those darned glasses up until then I thought I was aging pretty well .Turns out not so much.

53, and high mileage physically. In winter i carry a Sig Sauer 1911, S&W 69, or a S&W 24-3. Summertime I drop a Glock 42 in my pocket.

Have you noticed that most forms or polls that ask for your age put those of us 65+ in the "last box" or in this case circle?

At 71, I've been in the last box for a few years now. As time flies by I've become more aware of the negatives associated with being lumped in the "Last Box".

Just maybe, our opinions about issues change as we mature toward the century mark.:D

63 come January and have just gotten back into revolvers in the last 2 years.

This forum is an enabler to which I have become addicted - I've purchased 7 S&W's during this period - and hope never to be cured.

I will be 56 in a few weeks, and have been buying Smith & Wesson revolvers since I was 21 yrs old. This brand has a special place in my heart regardless of being critical of them from time to time. This place is like a time machine to stroll down memory lane for me.

I'm another member at 55, but compared to many here I've only been shooting for about 5 years. Actually first found this forum as a source to try and locate .22 ammo when i was a beginner (that was a tough time to get into this hobby lol) but as my little collection grew to become SW heavy and i got more involved, I've found this it the one forum that i spend any time on and really enjoy it.

So in a way, guess I'm glad that finding .22 ammo the few years back wasn't easy or I may not be typing this now.

;)

I am 70 & I carry S&W 1911 45 everyday

I'm hanging on to 55 as long as I can, therefore I chose the 50-55 cloumn. I always pocket carry a Seecamp .380 and when I carry IWB in addition, it's either a .327 LCR, a S&W Model 36 or a Sig P239 in .357sig.

That is the future of guns in America. Not looking good. This is why elsewhere on a thread I said that the value of the S&W revolvers from the 50-80s will fall as the baby boomers die and their collections hit the market.

I'm 65. If I had known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself.

My first handgun was a Smith & Wesson. I suspect my last one will be also, but my day to day carry gun is either a Ruger LCP or a LCR in 38. Leaning more and more toward the LCP these days.
