After a few months of being .380 free, I'm once again a .380 owner. I owned an LCP a few years ago and traded it in for a BG 380 because I liked the feel of the BG in hand better.

After some carry time I grew less fond of the BG and eventually traded it in for a Sig P938. I was much happier carrying 9mm in a slightly larger (but still tiny) gun.

Well, for some reason, a nice new stainless LCP caught my eye today... and it was wearing a nice low price tag. I thought the trigger was nicer than my old BG, so long story short, this afternoon I put 100 rounds through my new LCP.

I'm not sure what it's role will be in my carry selection, but I'm pretty happy with my new purchase.

I have to say it is extremely comfortable in the pocket.

I like the look of the stainless.

I'm not a huge fan of .380 either. It's as low as I'll go in a BTN caliber. I gotta say I'm a fan of them for pocket carry an very discrete carry.

They are excellent for summer carry in Arizona heat:) When you wear as little as possible in the summer they are just the right size to fit in your pocket, front or back.

What do you mean by BTN? I agree that the LCP is an excellent pocket carry.

I wonder if I am on the same road as you. I had an LCP and liked it but have now gone to a BG 380 because I liked the controls better and it just felt better in my hand. Yes, the trigger pull is longer and stiffer than the LCP but it is what I wanted in a carry gun. (Oh, I also have a P938 because I wanted a small 9mm and I love it.) My only problem is that when I had the LCP and went to the BG380 there was ammo available. Now I have not been able to pick up any 380 at all. Oh, nice looking LCP.

Better Than Nothing. Anything .380 or less that people will carry falls into that category in my opinion. .22 is often referred to as better than nothing, but I'd never carry it. Not trying to start a caliber thing here.

For many folks, the 22LR is by far their most accurate caliber to shoot, in part due to the lack of real recoil. I know that my shot placement with either of my 22LR pistols is better than I can do with any of my other guns, but I also would not rely upon this little round as a primary defense weapon. I think the 380 is significantly better than the 22LR, but I agree that either is better than nothing.
