S&W customer service gave you the tracking number? I need to get in touch with FedEx myself to have them hold the rifle at the local shipping station for pickup, but the last S&W service rep I spoke with indicated that they couldn't give out tracking numbers because they were too busy.

I'd like to see if they send you a mag or two. My 15-22 has not blown an extractor or loosened its ejector yet but you never know.

Fed Ex delivered my rifle back from S&W this afternoon. 18day`s to complete the journey.Not to painful.Not happy there was no explaination what was done to the gun,just a note with # to call if you want to know. Wanted to have a range report with this entry but have to work in a hour so that will have to wait. We have a Blizzard moving in this evening with 12 + inchs of snow. Temps below zero and high winds. Soon as it all settles down that range report will be coming. I have purchased 4 different ammos to try while the rifle was gone.
Ordered some CCI Tactical from Cabelas but it wont be here till around the 17th. Oh,no extra mag`s came with gun.

I gave it a couple of yank`s, it didn`t move. Wow, I would really be pissed if it did.

Range Report
I finely decided to brave the cold and snow to see how well my rifle worked after getting it back from S&W. Had to walk in due to large snow drifts. Conditions were 15 degree`s and sunny and no wind. I couldn`t make it to the actual range but I did make it to were I could at least fire into a wall of dirt from the old pistol range, approximately 100 yrs. I`m happy to say I fired 50 rds of Win 333, 25 rds Rem 550, 50rds Fed 550 and 25rds CCI mini mag. All these performed flawlessly. I know it`s only 150rds but it`s a good start. ( no jink ) So far it looks like S&W got the job done. I will report future range reports when I can get into the actual range and get targets up. I talked to the head of the Gun Club and he said they don`t plow the range, so unless someone with a plow wants to shoot it won`t get plowed.

I've read you guys post, and I too have sent my gun back to S&W and am anxiously awaiting for it! It will take awhile as it is the holiday. I will say that i'm a little worried that this might be a reoccurring problem! Not to thrilled to hear no spare mag either! Maybe my earlier praise of S&W was a bit premature. Hoping for the best.
I've read you guys post, and I too have sent my gun back to S&W and am anxiously awaiting for it! It will take awhile as it is the holiday. The GOOD thing is, if it`s a reaccuring problem at least S&W will stand behind it.
