It was time to change out my carry ammo (.357) in my Model 60. I was looking for Barnes TAC-XPD but the store was out so I decided to try the Barnes VOR-TX in 140 gr. Any thoughts or experience with this ammo? I had previously carried older Con Bon 125 gr.

I had heard that the heavier bullet will yield slightly better results in a snub-nosed revolver.

I am NOT interested in the .38 vs. .357 in a snubbie debate. Please don't start that again here!

Thanks

Carry it in my 4" 686. Accurate and all the tests I've seen show it to be a very deep penetrating round with good expansion.
Seems p.o.i. is close to heavier rounds.... 158-180 grn stuff out of my gun.
I like it....
