Battery Powered Lawn mowers.

I am going to get an electric mower probably an EGO. I am looking at back surgery soon and my wife and gas powered lawn equipment to do play well together. She will have to take on the mowing for an undetermined length of time. So there we are.
My experience with cordless tools is mixed and the planned obsolence of batteries ,DeWalt, is aggravating. The cheap Amazon batteries are in a word junk. I would not want to be without a cordless drill. Just way to handy to have

Dont have an Ego mower (I do have their blower and trimmer which work great) but my SIL bought their mower last year and could not be happier. Has handled their lawn just fine and the lower sound level makes it easier to deal with.

Convenient and I love lithium battery drills and impact drivers but I don't have much trouble out of gas lawn equipment. I buy quality the first time and then change the oil and sharpen the blades - pretty much it.

Sta-bil, Startron or Seafoam goes in the gas for the last couple cuts of the season and I store over the winter with full tanks of treated gas. No problems in the spring, last use is late Nov and start back up in April. The main problems I do have are with hand held 2 stroke - after 10 years or so the primer bulb will get brittle and crack.

No way I'd take a $500 lithium walk behind over a Honda self propelled like the one Home Depot sells for $469. I'd buy from a local dealer if possible but Home Depot will do. :)
