Battle..model 19 vs model 29 who wins.

Sold! What about the 586 vs the 29? The 586 can really handle a steady diet of .357 magnum rounds.

Ok I choose the 350 (357) because the 427 (44) is more expensive to operate and doesnt handle as well !

True enough, but it's still a .357.

Nothing it can do that the 44 can't, but can you say the same thing of the 357?

This is a great comparison, and one you don't usually see. Both models have their virtues, and both are surely loved by everyone who frequents this forum for their own reasons. That being said, I am going to take the middle road and say:

Model 19 on my hip, Model 29 in a shoulder rig and I am good to go anywhere.

And if you just can't decide....then come over to the "Dark Side" the 41 Remington Magnum in a model 57 or the model 58 (mine's a 58).
