Before. Guns?

My family (wife and kids) lived in base housing for 12 of my twenty year career. There were few problems on base. But I did have a full size police night stick that had been drilled and filled with bird shot and plugged. first fire arm was a single shot shot gun cut to 18 inches with buckshot shells.

Had one a these hidden under the bed...

That is clearly an excessive use of force, prosecutable in any jurisdiction.

My question however, is what are you gonna use if she ever comes out from under the bed?

One of these perhaps?

Big strong Dad was our protection , unloaded shotgun was kept in the closet and remember shells in nightstand drawer . I didn't have any firearms when out on my own had a hunting knife , a roommate had a .45 or .44 cal SA revolver.

Although years before this newer one came along I had another one like it before having guns.

Growing up, the only working gun in the house was a Remington bolt action 22lr. Not even sure Dad kept it loaded. He had a couple of WWII bring backs. An 8mm Mauser and an 8mm Roth-Steyer. Never had ammo for either of them.

After I moved out and got married, for about 5 years the only firearm in the house was a single shot 20 gauge and Grandpa's single shot 22lr.

My dream front door opener is a 125 cc chainsaw with a 60" bar. I'm a sick man. Lol

...with a chainsaw...you don't need a door...

...you go in anywhere you want...
