Best grease for slides

Not saying it's the best, but TW-25B is slick and stays where you put it after the gun heats up, so it dosen't run. I got the syringe and refill from the bigger tube.

I would not use grease. A film of oil, applied and then wiped off with a rag will give the slide all the lubricant it needs. Grease will collect grit and (most will) get stiff in cold weather.
I have also found this. Since I clean my guns every time I shoot them, I'm very satisfied with Break Free CLP.

As you can see, almost as many different answers as responders and they all seem to do the job. Modern lubes are all pretty much very close in technology.
My personal choice for the last decade is Mobil One Full Synthetic in a Brownell's bellows bottle. I use it on everything including full auto. If it can hold up in your motor, it will surely work on my gun slide.

My personal opinion is that as long as you use a good quality lube, oil or grease, you're good-to-go.

Having said that, I can't say it's the best but I've used Tetra Gun grease on my Beretta 92FS and a couple of 1911s with good results. That was several years ago, however, so I don't know if the formulation is the same.

FWIW, I currently use Gun Butter oil for lube, but have also used Break Free CLP. Both work well.

I stick pretty much with LSA, Lubriplate and Mobil One, depending on what I am lubricating. On things that slide like my M1's and 1911 slides, a light grease up with Lubriplate...... Things that rotate usually get some Mobil One. The LSA (old USGI standby) is kind of a cross between the two, and I keep a bottle in my range bag.
That's just me, and YMMV.
