I just advertise WTB on a couple of forums. You will get plenty of responses. I have bought a bunch of once fired brass on "The Sniper's Hide" forum. And for real good prices. Tom.

Since .357 mag is not being used by any agencies what you find once fired is mostly mixed range brass. I don't like the idea of using mixed brass for a high performance round, that plus the fact that Starline Brass is only a few dollars more I would recommend you check them out.

+1 The problem is knowing if what you are buying is actually "once fired" or something else. Unless I absolutely know that brass is once fired, I don't bother with it. You can't go wrong with new brass.

I have gotten very good brass from T. J. Convera, but I don't know if he has .357 currently.

For .357 I'd just buy new. 9MM, 38 Special, 40 S&W, & 45ACP is a little different deal............Creeker

I gave up on trying to find decent once fired 357-M brass. I have an order in with Starline now. Its on back order at present, but when I do get it, I can be sure that it is good and not multi-fired range pickup.

I noticed they are back ordering as well since I have been searching the net for the last week or so.

I think I will back order some and be done with it. (Altho some reviews I have read - Midway's site I think - claim to have found some meaningful discrepancies in one mfr's. case-to-case lengths.)

Thanks again to all who have responded :)

You can actually get very good deals on once fired 38/ 357 brass from guys who have contracts with indoor ranges. The brass is almost certainly once fired - all revo shooters who reload just eject their emptys into their hand and keep their brass. All the folks who have a model 10 or a GP 100 and only shoot it once or twice a year simply buy a box of factory ammo and leave their brass on the range floor. Just keep your eye out for a good deal and jump when you see one. Then again, Starline does make great brass!
