best trigger for the M&P 10

Timney 3lb single stage. Who needs a two stage? 2013gt its a little more involved i had to remove the grip, and ambi controls to install my timney but its not a big deal. Reinstalled them after trigger

Velocity 3 pound single stage trigger on a M&P10

Has anyone installed a Velocity 3 pound single stage trigger on a M&P10 without removing one of the mag releases?

One of the single stage triggers from ALG Defense (Geissele) may suit your needs for much less money.

Nice trigger for my M&P 10

I just installed a 3 pound drop in trigger from "Velocity.com" in my M&P 10 for $134. Just as nice as triggers that cost twice as much. They come in 3, 4 or 4.5 pound pull.

I just ordered a Velocity trigger from Tom tonight. I went with a single stage 4# since my other AR's have RRA National Match at ~4#.

I may have paid a little more but it's cheaper than my RRA and Tom is great to talk to.

I swapped out a few triggers on my ARs went from a geissele to a timney to a ATC AR gold and I loved it. So I went straight to their .308 version the SR Gold when I bought it and if you want to spend a little extra change it's well worth it.

My Velocity trigger arrived Monday. I installed it last night. A little challenge due to removing the ambi-safety and right side mag release.

Hint 1: tap the roll pin out from front to back using the short end of an Allen wrench to remove the right side bolt stop

Hint 2: When you place the trigger assembly in the lower, don't lock it down until you put the safety back in otherwise the trigger assembly will block the hole enough to not allow the safety to pass through

Hint 3: Tom supplies an Allen wrench and two more set screws to lock the already inserted screws. Torque down the lock screws and then insert and torque down the extra two set screws. Remember, the set screws small and are very hard. The lower is anodized Aluminum so don't get carried away with tightening the set screws.

I am very happy with the zero take up, zero creep and no indication when it will break. Over travel is almost zero too. Color me sold on this trigger, Tom Vehr thanks for a great product.
