Some of the older Native Americans have been passing down stories that these creatures have been in the forests longer than their ancestors have been on this land. If they exist I personally don't think they are human. I have a theory they may be some sort of a hybrid animal.
That must be a really good peace pipe they have!I have two Indian "Blood Brothers," yeah some still do that and it was their idea.
They are Ottawa and I know for a fact that they believe, at least some of them
do and it's something that they (the ones I know) don't joke about.
One of the names that they have for BF is "Bear Walk,"
which means, "Bear that walks like a man."
The way it was explained to me, was that the reason that they have never been
found is that they are spiritual. In this case a strong Medicine Man who
died and is able to travel between his world and ours.
Very nice , you are lucky, did you do a report to the BFRO already?Trust me its no joke just start night fishing in the wilds. I fish every morning at 3am till 9:30am. The stuff you hear in the dark.
My son would laugh at me but one onening day of deer season in VT we got in our stands before first light in the dark. As the first light was still at dusk I heard a tree knock above us and a farther away tree knock in the national forest were no one really goes without going by my camp. My son came down and said did you hear the tree knocking? I said yup. He is still on the fence about BF but time will tell. My camp is in the wilds just before the enterance to the national forest on a very rough road.
I have heard rocks being banged together at 1am.
I heard some giibberish language outside my window at around 3am but by the time i got out of my bunk they were gone. I figure it was two of them talking.
When i cook my famous bacon cheeseburgers it pays a visit soon after with screams. I open up all the roof vents on the camp.
Again the screams and howls are like no animal i have ever heard before.
When we walk out of my camp down the old access road and into the NF something up on the mountain follows us in and out of the woods in the day time and at night. I can hear it breaking branches and when we stop it stops and when we go it goes. No animal does that animals stalk you from behind. I scan the mountain/ridge with my 24 power scope on my 338wm with the both open for safety and nothing shows up. Again no one can get to this area without passing by my camp.
I do carry a magnum on me all the time. The BFRO guys said to leave out some bacon cheeseburgers for it. I'm not into sharing my viddles but i may try it.
Well, a 338wm should be a good medicine, a guy clamed to kill one (in fact 2 of them) in the Sierra (CA) with a 25-06 !! I don't think they (BF) are aggressive toward us, except if you try to kill them first....i won't trust nothing less than a 500 sw as a handgun .. I scan the mountain/ridge with my 24 power scope on my 338wm with the both open for safety and nothing shows up.

The great Pat McManus described it somewhat like this;
"When your setting in your chair watching TV, your certain there's no such thing as a Bigfoot. When your setting around the campfire just after dusk, your willing to accept that maybe he does exist. When your flashlight goes out on a bathroom break in the woods at 3:00am, your fairly sure HE'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!!"
We now return control of your television set to you. Until next week at the same time, when the control voice will take you to — The Outer Limits![]()
Since your in the state of Massechussets search for the bennington triangle and read it all where the police car was picked up by the rear end with the cop stilol in the car. We rode off road with atvs/dirtbikes in otis/sandisfield/granville mass and there are places there in the pines at october mountain that gives me the creeps. I do not stop there we just fly thru it.
