Bobbed hammers?

I carried this bobbed model 60 on and off for about 30 years and still would be but it got stolen along with my truck in 2003. Neither has shown up. Bought it new around 1971. I replaced it with a old model 40.
To me a pocket gun dont need a hammer spur to catch, or rip your pocket. On mine I had the top checkered where I could carefully cock it if desired.

Feral, I have an M60 bobbed like that. I wish I had those grips for it. ;)

I think I still have those grips! The gun was stolen with a different set of grips then pictured.

Sorry to hear about your truck and gun. That is why I never leave valuable or sentimental guns in my vehicle. If I am leaving a gun in my car, it is a 150-200 dollar gun, because I know that could be the last time I ever see it! It is a shame, but it is the world that we live in. Some homie has got to find something to pawn off for his next crack rock.

It was a lot worse than my short post. Heres the rest of the story. My 90 year old dad was in the convelesant home and on his death bed in wisconsin. I had drove home from wisconsin to handel things. I returned with a truck full of family guns, tools etc. (My dad was a widower, and I am the end of the line). When I got back to calif, I had no room in my already full gunsafe. I had to leave loose in the house the family guns I brought back. I hadent even unloaded the tools etc and got hit the first night or two I got home. I still had that model 60 in a compartment behind the seat. They stold the truck out of my driveway. The gun probley tipped them off I was a gun owner, I was watched and a couple days after that, when I left the house it was burglared and all the lose family guns that wasnt in the safe were stold!
It gets more complicated. I traced myself the robbery to a young woman who had just got out of jail on a similar caper. She wouldnt roll on her pals, got a reduced charge on also stealing a credit card that was in the truck and got effectively very little time. Two guns, a shotgun that somebody sawed off and a HDM Hi-standard did show up, thats all. Other guns and truck never were recovered. This happened in 2003. Here is my butchered recovered shotgun. Also a list of the lost guns. I did also recover the HDM on the list.
