Bodyguard 2.0 pocket holster

My first option is always to go to my bag-O-holsters, and see if I have anything that will work. I don't care for pocket carry, so there aren't any of those there, but I found a leather Bianchi IWB I had bought for a Walther PPK/S I had at one time. Almost a perfect fit, maybe a little long for the BG-2, but otherwise, great.

Model number is 100, size is 09.

I'm not even looking anymore.

I've got a Sticky SM2. Pistol fits nicely with the trigger completely covered, but the rear sight sticks up quite a ways and is not covered at all.

i use the Muddy River Pocket holster and like it. Works as advertised and a good price and good company.

I have the Muddy River Tactical kydex.

It fits great in my pocket. Just the right amount of grip to the gun. I really like the thumb push-off. My draw is very easy.

It covers the mag release so there no chance of any pressure inside my pocket to accidentally release the mag.

Excellent quality and the Customer Support from Muddy River Tactical has been outstanding for me.

Anybody try a Blackhawk Tecgrip pocket holster for the BG 2.0? If so, which size?

I have Stickies for transporting my pistols, in my range bag, to and from the range.

I would NEVER consider carrying my BG2 inside a Sticky in my pocket!

That's just my worthless opinion. :D

I also bought the Muddy River pocket holster and like it for pocket carry. As previously stated, it covers the magazine release, but it also cover the trigger. I have the 2.0 with the safety, but you definitely would want the trigger covered if you had the model without the safety.

Do you find this holster to be an extremely tight fit with the BGF 2.0? Does it need any breakin? Mine seems super tight. thx
My Muddy River pocket holster was a perfect fit without any "adjustments" and I'm picky. A few thousands of clearance so as not to wear the finish off of the slide, but not so loose as to rattle.

My MRT kydex was perfect without adjusting the screws.
It had a nice click into place and a perfect amount of clamping to allow my thumb to push it off the BG2 during a draw.
Muddy River Tactical's customer service has been excellent, and the price is great.

For a pocket carry there is no way I want anything holding my pocket defense carry to be in anything but kydex.
There is way too much pressure against the pistol from multiple sources while the pistol is in my pocket.

I do not have 1st hand experience but this pic is from the website called handgun Hero that compares various handguns. It looks as if it will work. My M&P Bodyguard .380 in my cloth lined Remora has a small amount of play in the trigger guard area and the length on the Bodyguard 2.0 should just give the holster a tad better grip access. If you try it, please let us know.
Even the cheap nylon pocket holsters that sell for $12 to $20 work pretty well. Uncle Mike’s brand is the most common and cheapest. Thin leather is a little better and lasts almost indefinitely, but the nylon ones are cheap enough that if you need to replace it every year or two it is not a big deal. I have a couple that I have used a lot that are at least 4 years old.

I think kydex is much more likely to wear holes in your pocket because of the abrupt edges most of them have.
