I get some FTF with Perfecta. With other ammo (Winchester, Remington, all HP) no issues. And, it is not the last round in the mag. Could be 2, 3, 4th....
I've stopped buying it in 380. Still works fine in 9MM
Anybody else experience this?

FFT* Failure to fire, or Failure to feed?

My son has run a bunch of Perfecta in his 9mm Glocks with no issues. My Father in law shoots a lot of it too. I've also reloaded a bunch of the brass and it's good. Some guns just don't like certain types of ammo due to different factory tolerences. Sounds like the OP has found a brand to stay away from on that particular gun.

No problem in my BG380.But I don't like it as well as Remington loads.

I believe that Perfecta is made by Fiocchi, but marketed through Tulammo USA.

Perfecta has been perfect for me - 9MM, 38, 45, and 223.

I have some 380 that I have not tried.

It is Fiocchi Italy production.

I have had to double strike Perfecta (and Fiocchi) in my M&P 380 a few times to get it to fire... My M&P 9mm and 40 both eat them like candy though.

Failure to Feed....sorry Martbee....btw, my father and father-in-law both served on the USCGC Ingham 35 together back in the 50's. Thank you for your service!!!

FFT* Failure to fire, or Failure to feed?

I'm a newbie. Could you please explain the difference? I figure FTF(fire) mean it went "click" instead of "bang" but not sure what FTF(feed) means. Thanks.

FTF (Failure to Feed) in my case is that the spent cartridge was successfully ejected, but the new bullet was not completely seated in the chamber or the bullet was not picked up at all. My guess is that the cartridge that was just fired was under powered.....not enough powder.

I have used Perfecta in a number of firearms including my BG380 and new 9mm Shield. Although the bang can appear to be a little weak sometimes, I have never had a problem. Now take Winchester White Box, that's a hole different story!

I use it in my 40c, 45 Shield, and M&P15 with zero issues, as do many many others, it's not garbage

Because of issues experienced, Perfecta and Monarch brands are not allowed in my local indoor range. Perfecta .380 in my LCP hurt my hand to shoot, loaded too hot. I gave away half the box and shoot Winchester or CCI.

Fiocchi

Have not tried Perfecta, but Fiocchi is not reliable in my Bodyguards. Too many failure to fire. Many on this forum swear by Fiocchi in their Bodyguards. You just have to see if it works in your gun. Fiocchi in my 9mm's are fine.
