Bored and made the most tacticooled mall ninja revolver tonight.....

Hey, don't forget us "Gunshop Commando's"! Why not mix things up a bit and have fun? Wrap your cord with a bit of heavy duty aluminum foil, should work for a cylinder or so. Have fun with that bad boy!

Lol, well I dont h as ve a Taurus, but....

Originally I was gonna throw a rsil under the bottom of a Ruger Super Redhawk (they have enough barrel thickness, lol), and cut it from 7.5 to maybe 5 or 4 inch. Ended up selling it though. Maybe next time!

At least that TRR8 is still a S&W.
To be truly ugly you must start with a Ruger

Nice!!!!

I'd use that, lol.

You're right, at least it's still a Smith and Wesson, lol

A flashlight and a laser actually make a lot of sense on any and every home defense firearm. You don't have to worry about finding a holster to fit since you're not carrying it.

It's only for home defense and hunting. NOT every day carry, lol.

It really is my most versatile handgun, I also night hunt, hence the big flashlight. Has a visible light and an IR light.

Last accessory would be a pistol brace; you'd have to put a 1 - 1.25" cylindrical tube on the rear grip frame but where there's a will, there's a way. ;)

Ya know, that exact little setup in .22 mag would make a nice little 'coon gun at night.

I once thought about a pistol for night hunting raccoons (in Florida its 22 LR or 410 only (although I keep the 357 on me for protection), still not ruled out, lol. I own a commercial door and hardware installation company, and no, it's not like you're hollow doors in a house, lol. So I get tired of carrying/working with heavy ****, when hunting, it's my time off, and light as possible is pleasant!! Especially in FL heat, even at night.

CZ also made a pistol bayonet that attached to the light rail. But no provision to hang a light underneath it, so maybe that's why it got discontinued....
;)

As for the cable being cut by normal cylinder gap leakage, I'd think it's far enough away. But you could split a short length of small diameter flexible tubing as a potential sacrificial protective cover in initial testing. Slice it lengthwise and slip it over the important wire. Clear PVC tubing ought to do fine! If it works it would solve an ergonomic shortfall that bugged me when I had a TRR8.

Good idea! I may try that, if the pvs survives I'll take it off and use as it is.

Just talked to my gunsmith buddy, said he threw up a little in his mouth, lol! But he agreed, if it works, it works.... kind of like the SCAR rifle, we dont buy them for beauty, and this isn't my "Beauty" gun, my 66-1 is. Wait until you guys see my integrally suppressed pump shotgun..... you'll lose your lunch, lol. But it is pretty compact and badass!

I'll probably look into a smaller Streamlight light. If not, maybe buy another company with a smaller light and another buy a broken Crimson grip again. This is what I had laying around. But now that I know how to make it, maybe make a more "refined" one, if there is such a thing, lol.
