Bought a Sig P365 for $80

Granted, it's made in Taiwan and it's only 4.5mm (.177 BB) instead of 9mm. The "Authentic Weight, Balance, and Handling" is a bit of a stretch, the 9mm is definitely heavier even without a loaded mag and comparatively top heavy as well. But aside from the slightly thicker magazine base and red dot for the safety, the CO2 version is a dead ringer. Blowback action so the slide reciprocates when fired, and holds back on the last shot.

I like it! That would be a perfect training platform to train a new shooter on fundamental basics before going to the range with a center fire version.
Or, it can serve as a specific trainer for the real 365, since it is identical. Inexpensive way of refining presentation drills doing single & controlled pairs.
I have used Airsoft versions of various pistols to train new shooters in my garage or backyard before venturing to the range with a real firearm & live ammo.

You are right, nothing like a cheap handgun for new shooters. Didn't know sit made these before now.
I think it was made to counter market glocks.

I occasionally test and repair those air guns. The build quality is not great. If you get a good one they are a lot of fun to shoot.
