box value?

I don't what forum to ask this so I will try here.

I have a original factory box for a S&W chiefs special in good shape , I have seen just boxes for sale , what would be a fair asking price. (about 1968)

I also have a original S&W hand cuff box, The handcuffs are available also. (about 1968) what would the fair asking price be for this box , or box and cuffs Key also. Both came from one owner , I also have a box of old police leather stuff, any market for that? thanks

Check E-Bay for recent selling prices for both boxes and handcuffs. If the handcuffs are standard nickel plated model 90s with box, they might sell for $50 to $90 depending on exact condition, markings, etc.

If the handcuffs are the 925 or 926 aluminum cuffs or the model 94 cuff with the large barrel key, these can be much more valuable. I recently sold a pair of Model 94s with an "R" key serial and box for over $450, but this was an E-Bay auction where two collectors really wanted them. Hope this helps.
