Boxes through the Years

Due to lack of anything better to do, I was rearranging my factory S&W boxes and noticed the subtle (and not so subtle) changes over the years. Just what I need, another reason to collect guns, so I can get all the different box variations.

Well that's sort of a unique part of the hobby. The only gun boxes I have are the ones with guns in them. :D

Do you sell them? A source for a good box is always nice to be aware of.
 
A commendable goal to be sure.

You have a ways to go to obtain "all the different box variations," though.

I have a forum friend and new member of the S&WCA who's working on a similar goal for the '50s & '60s models. He's documented many not shown in your photos.

Just for fun here are a few oddballs.
