Good afternoon all! I just purchased a brand new S&W Shield Performance Center in 9mm. I took it to the range today and put 250 rounds of 115gr Remington UMC through it. About every 5-6 shots the gun would stick out-of-battery fully to the rear (past the slide stop even. A hard smack on the end of the slide would complete the cycle, however i was having to do this as least once (sometimes 3 and 4 times 
) per magazine. I field stripped and cleaned the gun twice through the firing to see if i could see any unusual wear or indication of any type of binding but i saw nothing out of the ordinary. I bought a box of federal ammo to rule out my ammunition but ran into the same issue and after 300 rounds total the issue does not seem to be getting ANY better 
. I've found a few places on line where people have had this same issue, but no one seems to be able to narrow it down to one specific problem or fix. Before i have to send my brand new gun back, i figured i would try online for a while and hope for a fix myself! Any thoughts or ideas? Anyone else had or heard of this issue and a fix? Should i try polishing around the barrel or on the frame slides?
