She didn't keep the bullet???
Bullets do some funny things...

One of our guys put a Remington Golden Sabre 40 cal S&W round thru a back window of a fleeing felon's car from a distance of about 8 feet, the bullet went thru the back of the drivers seat and entered the drivers left shoulder and stopped when it hit bone. The driver crashed her car about a 1/4 mile down the road. The woman was a mental case but knew she was injured badly by the round.
I thought that was damn good bullet performance.
On the flip side. I saw a bouncer, off duty PO, put a Glasser Saftey Slug out of a 2 inch model 38 thru a huge B/M and it exited the man's back and blew a hole in a car door. The bullet never hit bone , just tissue.
