California Ammo restrictions.

The Ninth Circuit "Stayed" the District Court's Preliminary Injunction that stopped the California Law pending a full trial at the District Court:
Hare is the language from the Appeals Court staying the District Court:

The court has received appellant’s emergency motion for a stay. The request for an immediate administrative stay is granted. The district court’s April 23, 2020 preliminary injunction order is temporarily stayed pending further court order.

Here is an example of the good language from the District Court:
Law-abiding citizens are imbued with the unalienable right to keep and bear firearms along with the ammunition to make their firearms work. That a majority today may wish it were otherwise, does not change the Constitutional right.
It never has. California has tried its unprecedented experiment.

Here is the actual conclusion of the District Court:

Criminal enforcement of California Penal Code §§ 30365, 30312(d) and 30314(c) is preliminarily enjoined by the Attorney General and all other law enforcement defendants during the pendency of this action.

Because the District Court's Preliminary Injunction was stayed by the Appeals Court, the case goes back to the same District Court Judge who will hear the case on a complete record, and make a final decision. IMHO, the District Court will make the same decision and issue a Permanent Injunction, at which point the Ninth Circuit will issue an immediate stay and then uphold the restrictive law after a full appeal. Then the pro-2A Plaintiffs can try to get it heard by the Supreme Court.

It was governmental action like this that caused me to bail out of California in 2005 at 54 years of age after living my entire life there to that point. Two weeks after I retired, I moved to the United States, specifically the Republic of Texas, I miss the spectacular geography, but absolutely NOTHING else.
